With this product speci­ally tail­ored to mari­time ship­ping, ship­ping compa­nies and ship mana­gers gain addi­tional plan­ning secu­rity and protect their budgets against unfo­re­seeable costs. Based on German marine insu­rance condi­tions, this insu­rance provides cover within the deduc­ti­bles of the hull insurance.

Damage to the hull, mecha­nical equip­ment and in the event of colli­sion (compen­sa­tion to third parties) is indemnified.

In addi­tion, we offer further modules with which claims related costs and damage to access­ories can be insured.

The deduc­tible insu­rance consider­ably reduces the shipow­ners‘ own contri­bu­tion in the event of a claim.

Elec­tro­nics Insu­rance for seagoing vessels

In combi­na­tion with marine deduc­tible insu­rance, we offer elec­tro­nics insu­rance speci­ally tail­ored to mari­time ship­ping. It covers property damage, for example, to elec­tronic bridge equip­ment, navi­ga­tion and commu­ni­ca­tion equip­ment, gene­ra­tors, and machi­nery control and moni­to­ring systems.

The insu­rance covers not only statio­nary elec­tro­nics, but also movable equip­ment and devices. In addi­tion to compen­sa­tion for repair costs, our coverage concept also pays up to the repla­ce­ment value in the event of total loss.

Addi­tional costs, e.g. for the crew‘s work or trans­port costs for air freight, are also indem­ni­fied. By taking out elec­tro­nics insu­rance, you signi­fi­cantly reduce your finan­cial loss in the event of a claim and opti­mise your insu­rance cover.
